Out walking today and spotted this little thing, hidden in bushes, in the dark and a bit too high for a really good shot, so apologies for the poor quality photos. I wonder if its a fieldfare? Can any ID for me please? Many thanks.

No I am afraid not, it is a juvenile or possibly female Blackbird. |

I agree with Ferret, A young female blackbird , they can vary from a chestnut colour with streaks on the breast to a dark brown colour,

I agree with above I got caught out like this earlier easy mistake if not used to birds but its a female Blackbird

Oh well, and I did so want it to be a fieldfare lol.
