| | | swallows spent half an hour of my lunch today, on the banks of the mersey here in cheshire, pickerings pasture lnr. pleasantly suprised to watch five swallow feeding up for the journey ahead, i think these are the latest i have seen by a week or so.

| | | Re: swallows The odd one or two Swallows can be seen right through November and in fact at least one Swallow over wintered in Cornwall last year.
I had three last Thursday and one on the Friday in Suffolk. I even had one in in late November one year at Southend so don't be surprised if you see the odd one around on your journeys in the coming weeks.
