That is a magnificent portrait. I've never seen a kingfisher - would love to, though, but I wouldn't be able to do it justice with the camera unfortunately.

I was fortunate to get close to a young Kingfisher just outside the "Kingfisher" Hide at WWT Slimbridge .. about a month & a half ago .. but couldn't have matched that shot ..
