| | | Short eared owl I came across this little chap this afternoon, first one I have seen this year.
He was roosting in the middle of a ploughed field which is an unusual place to find them, they normally prefer the rough grass on the ditch banks.
I managed to get fairly close to him and get a few pictures before he flew to the side of the field. |
