Kestrel sighting
Visiting friends in Stanmore Middx, sitting in the garden and a kestrel came and sat in the tree. My husband slowly walked towards it. He got to within 10 feet and they just looked at each other for 10 mins! My friend even approached and took a photo!!

How lucky are we??!!

Always a joy to see the windhover- they can be surprisingly tame- especially where they are used to people. Hope you got a good photo.

A very special ten minutes, it's a wonderful experience when something like that happens. Everything stands still during these sort of amazing encounters and after you are left with such a feel good factor
