The blackbird that visits our garden is unusually slightly bald. Is he diseased or just moulting. He seemed healthy enough hopping about and eating our bread.   |

Looks as though he's in moult to me, otherwise looks healthy enough! |

We've got one of those in our garden too: 
He's been like it for what seems to be the whole summer and he's still hanging in there, so I wouldn't worry too much  .

Had one blackbird in my Mum's garden this week that had no feathers on the head at all. It was hard to tell but it looked sickly perhaps mostly because one eye was not right somehow. | | |
