| | birds clear apple tree overnight? Hi, we have 5 trees of different apples in our back garden. One tree is of very sweet, bright red apples and both last year & this year the apples disappeared virtually overnight, there was no half eaten evidence left and it seemed almost every apple was gone.
My partner reckons the birds took the lot in one fowl swoop (excuse the pun) but I can't imagine that being possible after watching the birds peck so daintily for hours at one apple.
Does anyone know if this is a possibility and if this has been witnessed first-hand?
Please help put an end to this arguement |

| | | Re: birds clear apple tree overnight? Just wondering how the alleged avian culprits managed to carry away their ill-gotten gains ?? .. unless of course, they co-opted a few Pelicans to help out ...
I'd put this down to scrumping too ...
Bye for now ..
