| | | Some hobby pics I was at Fen Drayton lakes on Wednesday trying to get closer to a Great Crested Grebe to photograph it. No luck, as it steadily paddled away. In the past I have taken enough pictures of the rear end of a grebe. I went round the corner to some reeds to try and snap dragonflies when I heard a commotion. A hobby and a gull were having a bit of a do.
The hobby flew towards me and then right across my bows. Needless to say, I snapped away for all I was worth as the bird sped by.
I am pleased with these reaction shots. Don't often get an opportunity like this.
