That's great, well done - I love the tell tale bulge of the neck in the final shot

Great sequence of pics! I'm guessing that it has eaten a mirror carp. I saw a Cormorant (sp?) take on and swallow an Eel as long as itself in Bristol dock once. I also watched a Pike grab and eat a Moor Hen on the Taunton Bridgwater canal.

Hi, Great shots, I bet he couldn`t fly for for a while afterwards!

Here are 2 of my not so hot photos. This Grey heron was flying overhead, next second he made a terrible noise & nose dived & threw up! Good job I wasn`t underneath!

I found half a frog on my lawn once,one minute there was nothing next-plop!!
I assumed it was a heron that had disgorged it flying overhead!!
