They're becoming more & more common on the other side of the Humber too .. they can be seen regularly from Cleethorpes sea front & at Humberston Fitties or in the salt marshes down towards the RAF Bombing Range at Donna Nook ..
When I first moved up here (5 years ago in Nov) I couldn't believe how excited local Birders got at seeing them .. where I'd moved from (SE.England) they were commonplace ...
There have also been reliable reports of a Great White Egret at Humberston .. though I've not seen it myself .. Yet ...
