Greenfinch Or Siskin

I in my limited knowledge am not sure if this is a young Greenfinch or a young Siskin,



Any help would be appreciated.....JIM

One easy difference - greenfinch have the yellow on the leading edge of their wings which shows up on the edge when they are folded like in the picture. Siskin have a yellow wingbar in the middle of the wing which shows up as a curved bar across the wing when it's folded.

Hi. Don't worry I didn't know the difference either. However, once you see a siskin it all becomes obvious. Take a look at a short video I took of siskins in my garden in June. It might help.
