late fledglings?

has anyone got any late fledglings in their gardens?

ive currently got 2 young greenfinches visiting that look like theyve only been out of the nest a week or two,very plump and fluffy and unsure on thier feet

Yes, same here. Wee greenfinches and sparrows.

Got 5 Goldfinch flapping their little wings and calling for food. Either late or maybe second brood.

We've got a 2nd brood of House Martins still in the nest and our local Kingfishers 2nd brood fledged only last weekend We've also still got several Barn Owl boxes in the area containing young.

Call me pessimistic, but they sound like sick greefinches to me.

I've never seen plump and fluffy fledglings, but I've seen plenty of plump and fluffy sick birds.
