Ospreys

Went up to Bassenthwaite to see the Ospreys on saturday before the RSPB packed there bags on sunday and managed to get a few reasonable pictures and some terrific views



Plenty of Coal Tits on view too



and this Robin was cooling down



Stopped off at Leighton Moss in time to see these guys



i know,not a bird
but this one was,confirmation is required,is this a Raven?

Great pics. Not sure if the last one is a Raven but I would think back to its size. Ravens are quite big, much bigger than a Crow. They have more feathering and a huge bill that's curved at the end. I wouldn't like to say if yours is one but I'm sure someone else will have a guess.

I saw an osprey few days ago now, but in the strangest of places...he was flying over the depot at the back of work as this backs onto some marshlands and a well stocked river. Heard him before I saw tho! Such amazing birds of prey

Jus one note on the last pic, I personally think its a raven, looks bigger than carrion crow and rooks tend to have a greyish tint to their beaks
