| | | Sick Sparrow? This little chap has been hanging around for almost 2 days now. He can fly, he is eating and drinking, but looks all fluffed up. He was sitting on the lawn and I could get up to 3 feet away before he moved. He hid under my shed and I put seed and water out for him and he came and ate and drank in front of me. Today he has been hopping about under the feeders or sitting on the bird bath. When the other sparrows come he just carries on and when they leave he stays.
Any ideas on what might be wrong with him? Is it an illness? If so what about the other sparrows? The only other idea I could come up with was old age. (Which happens to us all.) |
