| | | birdfair i had a great day at the british birdwatching fair last fiday . was passing the optics tent and wandered in and there was simon king! he remembered me from last year and we had a chat and signed a card for me . i went to an event called call my ruff which was great and met janet sumner again and we had a chat too and signed my book as so did mike dilger and nick baker . i also went to an audience with simon king which was packed but it was fantastic. it was recorded for a dvd so i`m on it ! i didnt do as much this year due my recent cancer op so just took it slowly . there was a firecrest seen near marquee 1 but sadly didnt spot it . anyway i enjoyed my day , was on my own and only spent £1.60p all day (not counting entrance fee) and that was on a bottle of juice! sue |

I must make the effort one of these years but it always seems to be a long way away from Cheshire. |

I realise the show has been going for some time but I've only become aware of it this year and did think about going - if I'm still enthusiastic this time next year maybe I'll go |
