Mere Sands Wood Report

As this is primarily my Kingfisher spot i have tried for the last 2 days to get that perfect shot but as usual it eluded me once again by fractions,the usual almost perched on the perfect spot but not quite,i really must get a bigger lens.So i went for the cutest i could find



Others birds around for viewing purposes includes Cormorants 4,Grey Herons 2, Crested Grebe 1,Shovelers 2,Kingfishers 2 and all the usual woodland species and a kestrel or two,one of which i spotted on a lampost on the way here



I do think people should give reports on their local patch if it is not covered anywhere else as a help to all us WABbers,don't you think?
