| | | Gruesome Discovery Got home from work today to find the remains of what looks like a Woodpigeon on my lawn, suspect cat but could be Sprawk or even Fox - we do get one from time to time. Left what looks like the gizzard, if you're squeamish look away now.

| | | Re: Gruesome Discovery The link seems broken. Look at the feathers if they are bent near the end likely a bird of prey, if chewed more likely a fox or possibly cat. |

| | | Re: Gruesome Discovery Don't believe this could have been a cat - I've never seen this sort of behaviour before. Even the largest kills by the most fearsome moggies I've known have always been brought home whole. Cat's are usually well fed so hold on to the carcass for later - hidden under a bush or shed on home territory. Just a thought... |

| | | Re: Gruesome Discovery Yes I agree with Djackso on this one, usually a cat kill is a pile of feathers and nothing else. Does look like our friendly neighbourhood fox has been visiting, I did put some past-their-sell-by-date hens eggs out the other night which he loves. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
