| | | why ring a pigeon A bit mundane talking about pigeons but my resident flock of white doves joined this week by (I presume) a feral pigeon. Noticed it ringed with mauve and yellow tags on one leg and green on the other. Any suggestions as to why someone would go to the trouble? |

Pigeon Association confirm not that unusual for occaisional bird to go astray/take a break or become distracted (by the ladies?).
