| | | tragic end I found a very young robin fledgling today at the top of the grden. I could hear a robin alarm call in the next garden and I could see anougher robin in the apple tree. I took these to be the parents. The chick was very week and I was able to take two close shots of the chick I moved away I returned later chick not moved each time chick lookingg eaker and weaker. Sadly I have just been up garden and found chick drown in my pond

| | | Re: tragic end How sad. I had a similar experience at the weekend with a baby sparrow when a cat got it. I know how you are feeling you couldn't have done anything more for it. |
