| | | Treecreeper Having just got over the excitement of snapping a kingfisher, we were under an old dark willow with no sun watching a troop of long tailed tits zipping from perch to perch. Then my guv'nor spotted other small birds in the tree. They turned out to be a family of treecreepers. Why they are called 'creepers', I'll never know. They were bombing up and down the trunks and darting from limb to limb. This is the best picture. I have a couple more record shots, but the rest have been re-cycled. It really was a photographic challenge but we are more than happy with the result. A first for us both.

| | | Re: Treecreeper Lovely pic Colin. Saw my first one a few weeks ago but only got a very poor, just recognisable, pic because it was in a shady spot and it moved about quite quickly - also camouflaged well with the tree bark. |

Its funny, whenever I have seen creepers it's always whilst admiring long tailed tits too. they must hang out in the same 'hood' |
