Kingfisher Photos

I set the perch up again yesterday he came and sat on it for 6 Min's not alot happened really just got some like this a bit cold for fishing i think hehehehehehe..................

some of the best kingfisher shots I've seen lippy, truly amazing, i wish i could get one shot of any quality at the moment, heres hoping.

That lens is an f/2.8. Maybe 300mm

how do you get such good photos? mine are piles of cat droppings compared to this. do you use a lens as long as your arm or did you get really close to it?

OK Guys i set the perch up 8 feet away from the lens Canon 30D + EF300 2.8 L NON IS and i sat about 20 feet behind the camera with a wireless remote...................
