This one was shot throught the cage bars, but I dont think they show. I was particularly pleased to get the shot with the eyes open. On a previous visit his eyes were closed so all i got was a mass of white!!

Can't see the bars at all! Definitely don't detract from the photo. Like you say as well, it's all the better for having the eyes open. They are stunning  Amazing to see when up close (see the Eagle Owl on my avatar  ) |
