| | Unidentified dead bird Well, I drove down the lane this morning and saw this fluffy mess. I got out of the car thinking it'd be something uninteresting but I saw the feet and it looks like a BoP. They're talons! Is it a small Kestrel? A small Sparrowhawk? I have clue;
It measured about 7" wing-to-wing when I stretched it out. If you need any other info, it's still laying in the drive, i'll nip out and have a look |

| | | Re: Unidentified dead bird I would plump for the Kestrel Nick but one of the experts will let you know. Shame, as they are beautiful creatures.

| | | Re: Unidentified dead bird I'd say Kestrel and by the look of the down and pins, a fledgling. A short and sad life.
