| | | Re: Bird ID? PeterD - See Image - Juvenile goldfinch - Goldfinch - Carduelis carduelis - ARKive as this shows a juv Goldie. I think it's the most likely. The black tail is the most indicative.

| | Re: Bird ID? Thank you all for your comments. I am agreeing with those offering Linnet as the ID. I have compared this with the Goldfinch which was also suggested but the body plumage colour/pattern does not match my image.
