Cracking shot. We have them flying up and down our river at the moment - looking for Mallard chicks, I saw one taking a chick the other day. We only really see them at this time of the year as they disappear when the chicks are too big.

Of all the gulls, I think the black headed is the most interesting to shoot. I like the pose you have captured and the eye contact - he seems to be looking down to spy his next meal

Nice detail - not an easy shot to get exposed correctly, especially with the black and white colourings |
