| | | finches we have lived in a flat for 8 years and we never seen many birds until the wife put a feeder outside in the back garden we now get numerous birds we are getting a lot of young birds sparrow sized,brown with a yellow bar at either side ,when they fly away there is a bit green tinge above the tail,what could they be , thanks |

there are heaps and heaps of those around at the
moment
Look at the size and colour of the beak - if it pinkish
and chunky its greenfinch, but darkish and not overtly
