Maybe they'll breed soon? | You're a bit behind there Tuftie!  They first bred in England just over a decade ago now in 1996. There's well in excess of 100 breeding pairs now. They've bred in London for the past 3 years at Walthamstow Reservoirs. |

However I think you call it a heronry still; sometimes these mixed colonies of heron like birds that may also contain ibises, etc in warmer climes are sometimes called rookeries without a corvid in sight! |
