I found an injured parrot 3 days ago. He seems to have perhaps broken his leg and is having trouble walking, apart from that he seems to be in good spirits eating and drinking. I was wondering what the best advice would be to do with him as I really don't want him to be put down?

Please take the Parrot to a VET or the PDSA do not let it suffer,somewhere there must be an owner frantic with worry

The parrot is a wild green parrot and the local VET wanted to put it down. I wanted to try and find out if there where any organisations that looked after injured wild birds. If not I'll take it back to the VET this afternoon. |

What area are you in ,there may be an animal rescue near you that could save the bird try UK Parrot Rescue
