Brave mum
The lovely brood of Avocet chicks were in considerable danger this afternoon.
This Harrier was flying over their field looking for an easy meal.
The brave mother was having none of it and very quickly saw the intruder off.

What a star.

haha snake i saw something like this a month or so ago.But it was a crow having a go or i should say chasing a red kite away.That`s what re triggered my interest in wildlife and photography.Nice one m8.
