Red kite chicks destined for Aberdeen - video clips

Hi all

As part of the ongoing kite reintroduction project in Scotland, I have been taking care of 14 kite chicks for the past couple of weeks, which are destined for Aberdeen very soon. The holding pen is located here in the Chilterns. A handful of kite chicks are being held in another pen.

An IR camera with a 3.6mm lens was installed into the holding pen, enabling me to keep a very close eye on the birds day and night.

I have chosen a few video clips of the kites in the pen, and have now made them available for public viewing on the website - redkites.net

I will be posting more clips as soon as I edit them. I believe this may be the first time footage of this nature has been available for people to watch.
