| | | Hybrid Kites Hi
Anybody know anything about the four red X black kites escaped from London Zoo. Any sightings or confusion, said to be in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Kent. |

| | | Re: Hybrid Kites Ive been wondering about these guys. Wasn't aware they were hybrids. Ive spoken to the Regents Park wildlife officer (top bloke!) a few times and he blogged about a black kite in the Park, on his blog (surprisingly!) but when I spoke to him he said it (and others) had escaped through a hole in the aviary. I don't think he has heard anything since, well he hasn't said to me in person or online. Might be worth leaving a message on his blog here: Regent's Park Birds

| | | Re: Hybrid Kites As far as I know there were 3 Black Kites + 1 of the eastern form, lineatus, often now called Black-eared Kite, like the one that appeared in Norfolk a couple of winters ago. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
