I think the first picture is of a buzzard. As for the bird flying I'm not sure, my first thought was a female marsh harrier.  |

iam no expert but i think its a buzzard as it looks identical to the buzzards i see when walking the dog.
Your images arn't that bad i think they are admirable, its hard to take photos of birds moving.
