| | | Young male blackbird? Hi everyone - forgive my ignorance, but is this a juvenile male blackbird, as opposed to a female? It has the female's brown plumage, but a yellow beak, so I think it is a young male. Am I correct? |

It doesn't look speckled in your picture which leads me to believe its a female. Females beaks do have a yellowish tinge.

The more I look at the picture and the more I read up on the differences, I have to say I am more inclined towards it being a female after all .... |
