Identity


Sorry about the blur but it was fast and far.

I think it could be a female linnet ?
Any other ideas please?

I assume it was finch-sized? The pale patch above and below the eye, and the dusky cheek are diagnostic. Linnet.

It was slightly larger than greenfinch size but smaller than thrush or blackbird.
