| | | Killer Coal tit !
This is the monster.I asked on an earlier thread when caol tits are likely to leave the box, we had been watching both parents feeding and each time this bird popped up. Then nothing for ages, apart from the odd fly! When we checked there were about 7/9 decomposing young..........now in this same tree is a coal tit feeding one very fat monster....If I can I will get a picture. At least now I am sure I know what happened , this greedy G*t beat all the others to the food
Gone right off coal tits, in fact all Tits listening to other stories. Annmaria |

It is just the way the world works. At least they don't ride motor-bikes. |

| | | Re: Killer Coal tit ! I find it strange that so many would die being pushed out by one but I suppose anything is possible. Not a Cuckoo is it ? . Not sure he/she would fit in the box though.

| | | Re: Killer Coal tit ! It may not be the survivors fault, with all the bad weather we get perhaps the others died of cold or the parents just could not find enough food even disease,do not judge too hastily
