Red Legged Partridge

I took these shots last night when I saw this pair as I was bedding my pony down, I have seen them a few times in our field before but not had my camera handy, I had to shoot the pics through the sheep fence so excuse the lines. I am almost certain they are Red Legs although the grass was so long I couldn't actually see their legs The female was a bit more evasive and I couldn't get a decent shot of her, but managed to catch her having a bit of a preen
