Help in ID these Birds

Hi, very new to bird watching. Just bought a new camera + lens.

Tying it out, and took these photos. Can somebody help me in finding out what they are.

Have a few more bird pics that need ID, I will post these another day.

Well I must be improving . I looked at the thread and identified the first bird as a Whitethroat, all by myself .

First two Whitethroat - Sylvia communis
thw last one is the Shelduck - Tadorna tadorna
nice pics by the way well dopne and welcome to the site at the same time

I thinkmthey are all the same bird I think its the Lesser Whitethroat - Sylvia curruca hard to tell propewrly as the pics are a bit over exposed but no doubt someone else will help to confirm

The Latest ones
1, 2 and 3: Lesser whitethroat, agreed. 4 and 5: Dunnock, Prunella modularis

They all look like Dunnock to me..........

Sylvia I believe relates to woodland? I think anyway!

Yep the latest ones are all Dunnock...

Seen the other images Whitethroat and Shelduck ...

02 image looks like a Garden Warbler ???

Mick, could be, but the bill seems a BIT too dark. I still think Dunnock.

Yes, Sylvia and Prunella ARE good bird names, particularly for 'hens'!

I'm having trouble with the thumbnails aswell i think it may possibly be that the image was small to start with maybe ohwell you can see them if you click on them..
