| | | Olivaceous Warbler There's an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Portland Bill if anyone's in that area.
3 Roseate Terns also this morning and a Purple Heron at Lodmoor.
Cheers,

| | | Re: Olivaceous Warbler From the birds seen in the Weymouth area today you'd think it was in the Mediterranean! As well as the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler and Purple Heron there has also been a Glossy Ibis at Ferrybridge and Great White and Cattle Egret at Radipole! I live quite close to Portland although I'm not sure whether I'll be able to get over there any time soon, shame as that's a pretty impressive set of birds!

| | | Re: Olivaceous Warbler That's funny, I've just seen the RBA site and researched the Olivaceous one, then came across an old Wild About Britain page on Google where John had been to the Med and seen one.
Very interesting to find pics of birds online that you didn't previously know existed!

| | | Re: Olivaceous Warbler Today they have: Thrush Nightingale, Bee-eater, Serin, Red-rumped Swallow, Little Bittern, Black Kite, and Golden Oriole in the area. A truly purple patch.
Cheers,
Adam
