| | | Kestrel Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone knew anything about the Kestrels nesting habits?
The reason I ask is, at our lake we have 2 boxes up, and in the last couple of weeks I have seen Kestrels going into both boxes, I thought that they may choose to nest in one, however in the last 3 days i've seen the female on the same branch of a tree everytime i've been, which is around 10ft from one of the boxes(a box that is falling apart). Now if they were nesting i'd have expected the female to now be on eggs?
Can anyone throw some light on the subject?
Thanks | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
