| | | Closer.. Closer... Gotcha! Today I Had my very first experience with the Robin who can become quite a tame feeder.
After seeing Mr and Mrs Robin running back and forth.. I Decided to get a bit closer.. day by day.. they were used to me watching.. then today.. I Decided to go for the big shot.. it had only been a week since i got my Meal worms and was about to pack up the tripod and go back knowing they wouldn't like me there...
He/She appeared! This first couple were out of focus.. But then they kept coming and coming... 2 Robins constantly coming back for more!
And here are the resulting shots...
Just to show how close I Was... my shots were taking were only using 2x Optical Zoom! something you'd find in 10£ camera...
Enjoy the photos! (Available in Desktop size. I recommended the first one for a Desktop background. Just ask and i will give you link for a Desktop background version.)

I have a robin who follows me around the garden especially if i am digging it comes right down near my feet and last summer came into the kitchen behind me so I am wondering if I could entice with mealworms?

Linda | Thank you for your reply.
I Only actually got my Mealworm's last week on sunday!
So it wasn't too long before I Was tempted to try and get him/her to hand feed!
I Bought my 1-1500 worms off of - CJ WildBird Foods [UK]. Wild Bird food, seed, feeders, nest boxes, bird houses, water baths and more. Online Shop.
1-1500 Mealworms for only a fiver!
+ £1.99 Postage and packaging!
Mealworms are a DEFINITE winner if wanting to get up close... but if your going to do it.. let them know where your going to put it... so leave the mealworms in the same place.. and then they'll will eventually even find out what time your going to put them out!
Hope this answers your question!
