For a number of years the only species that we had in our Garden were Sparrows, Starlings, Blackbirds and Doves. But just before last Christmas i put up a feeder with Sunflower hearts, although it took a few weeks for the birds to get used to it they did come slowly but surely. Now we have Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Blue Tits and Great Tits all using the feeder regularly and i'm filling it up once a day, but i think thats also down to the collered doves getting used to balancing on the tray

I get Great & Blue tits, Chaffinches, Bullfinches, Robins, Greenfinches, Collared Doves & Woodpigeons on mine, and Dunnocks and Blackbirds below.

Once also had Siskins but not for some years now.

Sunflower hearts are a great attractant. This year they brought in my first bullfinches I've ever had in the garden. They came a few days ago and are seen pretty regular now.
