I'm no expert, but I think it's a Willow Warbler because it's got a large eyestripe, the legs look pale (at least in the first photo) and because it didn't sound like a Chiffchaff!
When I saw it, I only saw it from the front, and seeing the white throat I thought it was a Whitethroat! I only realised my mistake when I loaded the photos onto the PC. It had occurred to me that I hadn't recognised the sound of a Whitethroat - I heard them a lot when I lived in Suffolk, and thought I'd recognise them if I heard one again. But it was definitely singing, not going
'chiff-chaff'. |

| | | Re: Willow Warbler? (Sorry!) Could be a willow warbler for the reasons you said, however, without distinctive singing call I cannot separate. However, both willow warbler and chiffchaff have voice notes as well as calls. Could you have heard this call? Perhaps it was a female?
