ID request ... Pipit

I know, I think I know, this is a Pipit ... but not sure if Tree or Meadow Pipit

Ta mucksly if you can confirm for me ... my first one too.

I'd say Tree, Anthus trivialis. Why? The chest is lined more than the Meadow and it seems to hae a more distinct wing bar.

I would go along with Jason on this and say a Tree pipitagain going by the markings on chest more pronounced

Thanks folks, I was right in my first assomption, after consolation with me bird book, but then wondered as there were no trees to be seen ...

When I first spotted it through me bins, I thought ... what a lovely Trush ... then I lifted me head up and couldn't see it.

I'm really enjoying this 'birding' lark ...
