| | | Re: Where are the buzzards? We have had a couple of weeks with few sightings locally, but the last few days they seem to have burst in to life..on the 6mile motorway trip from Albrighton to Telford yesterday we counted 12, which isn't half bad! |

Plenty of buzzards here in herts, but don't forget the females are probably brooding and will be less conspicouse this time of the year. The true populations will be seen in July - August when this years young are flying.

Cheers. voleman | Thanks, voleman, it's been a particularly slow and cold Spring. Nothing happening until the last week or two. Now I'm seeing the buzzards, but will expect to see more later in the summer |

| | | Re: Where are the buzzards? Where i live in Cornwall theres not a day we dont see them. Perched on telephone poles or those old dead trees they seem to favor, in the mornings and evenings. Or soaring at height, often in groups of 3 or 4 in the day. |
