| | | at last. a lesser spotted woodpecker, spent the last 7 weeks looking for the little blighter, but finally nailed it today, thrilled to bits.  
the picture's are not gallery quality, but i was just glad to be able to get some record shots, also spotted and photographed the gsw, but the green failed to show, two out of three not bad, but i still feel three in a day is a possibility. here's hoping.

| | | Re: at last. Well done Denn, one I haven't managed to photograph yet. I can usually see the green and gsw in the same day at the same nature reserve but the lesser eludes me.

Several of my colleagues insist we've had a pair visiting our feeders in work over the last week. I've been insisting they mean the greater spotted that visits, however, they seem convinced. Will keep an eye out and try and get pic if they're right.  Never seen one
