| | | Injured pigeon Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help an injured wood pigeon. I found it several days ago and think it may have been hit by a car. Have kept him warm, quiet, dark, and fed etc. He seems to have a bad leg injury and it's beyond my help to splint him up. Does anyone know of any wildlife friendly organisations that might be able to help, around the Cambridgeshire area? I can look after him but I think he needs to be looked at and maybe set. I think if I take him to my local vet they'll just say "don't bother, it's a pigeon", put him down and charge me £50 for the privilege. To be honest I'm surprised he's lasted this long, but he seems quite strong. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
