I wondered why my lovely fern was going bald...

Great pic..Can't wait till Dan sees this..Ferns are no good for wildlife.

Yep, you're right Roger. I watched the little fella flit down the end of the garden at the back of mine into their cladding under the roof, so I'm pretty sure that'll be his nest. I thought at first he was looking for insects in amongst the fern but then realised he was after nesting material (when he flew away with a gob-full!)
