Nice pictures. I went to Marshside today and fortunately had some nicer weather.

Hard to say what was more special, the Avocets or the hundereds of Black-tailed Gowdwits that were there. A very good day indeed.

Andy, i use a canon 400d and the sigma 50-500 lens, thanks for the comments, as i am new to it all, when i see grahams, bills, etc. photos i am a long way short yet.
Goatboy, yes i have to agree the godwits were a wonderful sight in there ( part) summer plumage, just couldnt get a decent pic of one. also the ruff looked magnificent but no collar plumage as of yet.
