I've only ever seen a male LS woody once in my life - about 6 years ago.
I can still remember how chuffed I was at seeing it so you must be really pleased at getting such good photos.

Still not seen a Lesser spotted, im hoping i will this year.

We have them in my local woods as there are dozens of rotted trees with pecked holes in them but I have only ever seen them in flight. Well done, nice shots.
