The weather may not be up to much at present - currently wet and windy outside and as per usual, the forecast for the weekend of clock changing isn't good either, normally indicating that the hour change will not be noticeable.

However, I've been thrilled this week on at least two occasions to be treated to the sight of flocks of starlings overflying our bungalow. Their wheeling and diving in such huge quantities is something to behold and makes up for a miserable day weatherwise.

Silver lining indeed!!!

Yes even on the worst day weatherwise there is always something in nature to brighten the day

And today we finally have a bird nesting in the box which was relocated on the back garden fence (think it's probably a blackbird, but haven't seen it yet). Will be able to view the progress from the conservatory.
